What is the loose connector under the seat?

It looks like an auxiliary plug or diagnostic plug. It sits loose in the back of the tool tray under the seat.

I believe it is the diagnostic connector. Do not fiddle with or connect things through it.

Yes, on mine. 2015 model. Saw it there and questioned the mechanic when I pulled it up as I was looking for the taillight hot wire.

See FAQ: Dealer Mode & FI Error Codes and the second post shows the location on the Glee.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
See https://www.stromtrooper.com/general-...nicknames.html

Please vote in the poll on what Strom(s) you have at https://www.stromtrooper.com/informat...-you-have.html
