Here's an easy one: White wire or black wire

Greetings,

I'm installing the Eastern Beaver aux. power lead - I will hook it up to a USB charger.

My question: Which wire is hot and which is ground? The Eastern Beaver aux. power lead has two wires coming from it, one is black one is white. My suspicion is that black is ground and the white wire is positive.

Am I correct?

Trying to avoid miswiring the USB socket and killing it.

Thanks!

Odd. The picture at the site shows black and red, pretty much universally set up as ground and hot respectively. Figuring black is ground is a good bet.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
