New Bike Smell

Took the new bike out today as it was first day with "mild" weather. As I was putting on first few miles on the bike I noticed burning rubber smell. All fluids are fine; I associated it to the brakes getting seated, and oils/residues burning off as bike was being ridden for first time.
Anyone else experience?

I think u r good, I have had three new bikes(no strom yet) and they all had an oil smell the first time I rode them. I am willing to bet you just smell the coat of oil put on the engine to keep it good in shipping. If it continues after 50 miles, then you might want to check things out.

My dealer gave me a heads up about that. Said there would be oil burning off and indeed that's what happened.

I've put only 70 miles on my new '14 but it continues to have a strong burning rubber smell to it. I have checked to see if any hoses or cables are touching the exhaust but everything looks ok. The smell is strongest around the exhaust pipe so I'm wondering if some sort of loose rubber got down in the muffler and pipe and is burning up in there. Any advice?

Speaking of new bike experiences, this is the first bike I've ever had that hasn't produced ANY " tink, tink " sounds while cooling down after a ride

My 2013 (bought new a few weeks ago) is approaching 600 miles and still stinks a bit.

Runs good, though.

Sounds like there are a couple stinkers in the house. I say good, one more reason to keep anyone from coming close to the bike and doing something stupid. My two Harleys and my Honda were done smelling in shorter order than 500 SMILES, but YMMV and I have not yet owned a new Suzuki.

Mine still had funny smells after ~100 miles. As other have confirmed, I assumed it was just some fluids burning off the outside of the motor. I don't have any strange smells now at 500 miles.
