Youtube video on Vstrom 650

i just noticed a video on the vstrom650. Been trying to find some good videos on why people get the vstrom, this guy apparentlly switched from a Ninja litre bike and downsized

That was a nice video, I subscribed and hopefully this rider will upload more videos. His bike is almost identical to mine. I don't have the heated grips and hand guards.

It's a great bike. My previous rides include a Bandit 1200, BMW R1150R, and FJR1300. The DL650 is just a great bike. After renting one in Sicily for a day I figured I'd eventually end up owning one.

I know guys that do that during the day time purposely, to be seen better. I used to on my WRR before I added extra LEDs...

Brights on all the time..............another reason for cagers to hate bikers. Just my opinion....

Do you think he covered the bike appropriately ?

yeah i think is saw the headlights on as well you mean high beams right ? probably trying to be seen in the traffic ?

Sunlight far overwhelms brights during the day. Dusk, dark, and dawn are different stories.

While on the headlight topic, another good option (at least for me) has been switching to Motovision halogen bulbs. They have a half moon orange glow that seems to get the attention of cagers. Behind the handlebars at night, you don't even see the orange tint.
