Radiator Fault

I have searched and can't find any Radiator issues with the 2012 650.

I have what appears to be a manufacture fault with the radiator on my 2012 Wee. I have had it repaired (A large job to remove & refit).

The issue was on the back of the radiator where one of the fins had split. The repairer said it was a fault with the radiator. (2 months out of warranty so no help from Suzuki).

So after getting it fixed & putting it back together, 4 weeks later it has started to leak again next to the part that was fixed.

I had not changed the coolant prior to the first leak, so mixing coolants was not the issue. So I guess I either try to get it fixed again or bit the bullet & buy a new radiator. (3.5 hrs work to remove & reassemble I don't want to keep doing.)

Anyone else had Radiator issues?

Have you tried to find a used radiator? Search for motorcycle salvage. You never know.

If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.

I had a leak on the radiator on my k75 (caused when I replaced the fan improperly). Local shop epoxied it and it was fine.

14 tooth for me

Check ebay, they normally have at least one bike that is being parted out.
