Hyper-Lite 3 way unit ? (anyone)

Just installed a set on my wife 2014 Honda CTX700 and outside a pain to pull the plastics to install, we love them. Thinking about adding such to my 2012 Dl650a and wonder if anyone else has installed the 3 way hyperlites and have the details of the wiring and placement?

Thanks in advance

FYI

Anyone Anyone?

Will be ordering the 3way hyperlites today so any comments on the wiring schematic details would be great.

I've had 6 or 8 Hyperlite modules fail on me and won't buy them again. That said, the company either reimbursed me or replaced the failed modules with no hassle.

I like the Skene lights better.

Had problems with the Hyperlites as well. They just kept failing. Try the P3 lights by skene. That is what I am now using and they are great.

You can buy the Eastern Beaver pigtail that makes it a non wire cut/tap install. I found these instructions accurate. The back wiring bundle on the Glee is easily accessible.http://www.hyperlites.com/instal/3WA...ap%20twist.pdf

Been running them for years w/o a failure. I put the 3-ways on all of my bikes.

I Contacted Eastern Beaver to verify that

Version 1 VStrom Brake/Tail/Signal Adaptor

works for the 2012 DL650a and was told it works on all models (so I ordered one last night)

Thanks for the input

Would you share:

What part of the hyperlite failed?

How long did it take for the failure? (Months?)

Thanks

No problem so far with my Hyperlites.

I prefer the U32 kit with all the lights working for the brakes. I want the lights to be as bright as possible to catch the attention of the driver behind me. And, watch your six, stop in the position with the best escape route, and stay in gear for a quick get away.

Where are you guys installing the hyperlites? on the license plate?

I always thought it would be cool to turn the big reflector above the license plate (rectangle thing that looks like a tail light) into a working light.
