What is the "ooooo" setting for???

I have a (new to me) 2013 650 Adventure. It did not come with an owners manual...

As I cycle through the trips on the dash, there is one setting that has five ohs: "ooooo". Using the reset button I can change the number of ohs from 1 to 5. What is it doing? I can't seem to figure it out, and searching is failing me.

If it's the same as on the new DL1000, that would be your display brightness. Try changing it when it's dark.

Yup... that's what it is. I've had it running in the dark yet. Just went out and tried.

Thx for the quick info.

Without the manual you also may not know you can toggle between clock and air temperature by holding down the selector button on the left grip.

DOH! I was going to ask if there was a clock... but I thought there was not room for it.

Guess I need to find myself an owners manual. Anybody seen an electronic version around?

The owner's manual is copyrighted. An e-version would be pirated. Links to pirated works are against forum rules.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Fair enough. I'm not asking anyone to pirate anything.

I'll track down and buy one I guess.
