My DIY GPS Mount (2013 DL650)

Using 3mm aluminium bar and sealed/heavy-duty rivets.

Using 'Ridaz' brilliant measurements - thank you.

Needless to say I suggest you check them on your own bike

Total cost 15.

Cut and shaped to pick up on alternative screen mounts.

Mounted using stainless bolts into screen-mount 'doobries'.

Really needs to be Mat-black but I didn't have any in the garage.

It may need a cradle to support the Garmin but I'll trial it first.

And with the screen fitted.

Wow, that is sharp, mate!

I'm currently using a 7" tablet for GPS, and it may be just a tad too large to mount in that location.

Nice work!

Nicely done.

It's really fun making your stuff to personalize your own bike. That's how I got started. I made this....

and then went around showing it to all my motorcycle buddies. My wife said, you should make ten and put them on Ebay. I listed them on VSRI instead and next thing you know.... AdventureTech, LLC. - Home
