Compared to what I paid last July in Ohio, that seems like a really good price.

How do you like your 650 ? Looking for any input before I commit! There is a destination fee that I need to check on,plus tax, -but seemed reasonable to me to start with!

It is listed as a dl650a,but no add-ons-Is that still considered an Adventure Model?-Thought Adventure came thru with bags and a few other extras?

Some people give a low number and add-on fees....some give a higher number and don't add much.....from what I have seen. If you can get out the door below $8000 that's pretty good. Mine was listed at 7200 or 7300...out the door at 7850

I paid US$6900.00 for DL650 2013, about a month ago. It was not the Adventure model. Use cicletrader.com to search offers. Very good tool.

Price you are paying is more than fair. You will want to know what the OTD price is which includes assembly/inspection, gas, destination charge, tax license etc. Your bike is NOT the Adventure model. Mine was listed as a 2012 V-Strom DL650A which is the standard model. I paid $7299 but my OTD was $8210 or close to that. You won't beat that price by much especially if you are buying in your locale. Consider driving time, gas etc if willing to travel to save a few hundred bucks. Regarding the bike: Tremendous bargain for what it is and what it can be once you make the necessary modifications to your taste. No regrets. I even just spent over $600 on a new Russell seat.
BTW some dealers were offering free Trax luggage/racks with purchase.
