I put the same top case on my wee. The only thing that I miss from my soft bag are the the small little pockets on the sides. Have you thought of adding small pockets inside the top case at all?

I have the Emgo top box on my 2014 DL650 as well, and believe or not, I had this same box for about 4 years and moved it from a previous bike. That tells you how durable it is. However, I did not believe much into secure attachment with its plate, so I bolted it directly to the rear rack (same on previous bike). The Emgo box is now about 1" lower and a bit more forward than it would have been with the attachment plate.

Not really. I keep a pair of Bull Frogg Rain Pants from cycle gear in it. They seem to cushion anything I put in it.

It still has room to hold a full face Arai.

16-1/2 inches wide x 12 inches deep x 12 inches tall

2376 cu. inches? About 39 liters if I did the math right. My full face Arai fits fine along with a pair of over pants, extra gloves etc.

It's on the small side compared to others.

Great job on the install and photos. I agree... boxes are either too egg shaped or to box-like but the Emgo looks great.

Looks like it might fit the Givi mount plate...

3 years and 20,000 miles and the Emgo is still working fine. I think the hinges have "stretched" a little due to over packing but it still is secure. Sometimes I wish that I had a bit more space. For instance on a month long trip last year where it would have been nice to have a bit more gear easily accessible in a top box rather than opening the side cases. So far it's worked.
