Sand, whoops, water... no problem on the Vstrom.

Who says the Vstrom is not a dirt bike? My friend was in from Georgia and he wanted to ride my WR250R. I had no choice but to tag along with the V.

We rode the Pine Barrens, which are 1 million acres of state forests; riddled with sandy fire roads and fire cuts. I made a video for him to show his kids. Some of you might enjoy it also. I only crashed once.

Now this is what it is all about

You took your bike on an Adventure, into the unknown, on a bike that many others would hesitate to take off the pavement.

Those trails look awesome and the scenery and location is something else. You kept the 650 at a good pace, proving that these bikes are so versatile, being able to switch from pavement to rough conditions and back again without any protest.

As for the dismount, 10 out of 10

I meant high definition; not Home Depot. Go home and watch it on a PC.

I am glad you liked that running dismount. For the record, my feet were the only part of me that hit the ground.

What kind of tires do you have on the bike? We've got trails like that up here too but I chicken out because of the Battle Wings...

1980's-XL80s
1983 Nighthawk 550
1990's Vulcan 750
1983 GS450L
2004 DL650

There are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity... Most of them ride V-Stroms.

You dont have the original stock tires on the bike........do you? I found those to be the limiting factor on some sandy roads in the U.P. of Michigan last year.
