Anyone with Glee and Suzuki Vario screen?

I have bought a Glee recently and it has the Suzuki Vario screen on it.
I read in an article recently that said the screen comes with spacers included. I assume from reading this that they go in between the screen and the bike to create more airflow between the two.
On my bike there are no spacers. So my question to anyone who has one of these screens is 'does it come with spacers?' and 'is this where they go?'

Yes, 4 spacers - 2 top ones are slightly longer than the bottom. They're the equivalent of the domed sections on the original screens.

I have the vario windscreen. I took delivery with it in the middle position. I then moved it up to the highest position. It has 4 spacers. The spacers moved the windshield out away from the front fairing and created a space about 1/2" wide at the base of the windshield. It seems that this increases the airflow under the windshield. It seems OK but I also wondered if this was the way it was meant to be?

Thanks for replying, that's fantastic. I'm going to see if I can track some down or make some myself from something.
