Ethanol for gladius glee ?

I own a 2013 DL650A ADV ... (Gladius Glee).

I WAS filling it with only mid-grade gasoline (no ethanol) ...

Money is suddenly VERY tight (VERY) and all I have is my glee (no regular income) ...

The manual states that the Glee can tolerate 10% ethanol but the implication is that (due to water content?) NO ethanol would be best.

I live in Texas and, though I HAD BEEN filling up with ONLY MID GRADE (Non ethanol), I am NOW filling up with REGULAR 10% Ethanol, fuel. I cannot find any regular gas, in Texas, that does not contain 10% ethanol.

Does anyone have an INFORMED opinion on what the long-term effect of running ONLY regular (10% ethanol) through the Gladius/Glee engine is ?

Any informed or official data on the use of 10% ethanol would be appreciated.

= Thank You =

no ethanol free fuel available here. I have been running the 10% (regular) for years. No issues.

You will be fine as long as it doesn't sit for a long time say a month or more. Living in TX no need to winterize. What I want to know is where you find E0 in any grade in Austin area?

2,748.4 US gallons of gas in my 2006, the vast majority wih 10% Ethonal with no problems as of 125,787 miles.

980.3 US gallons of gas in my 2012 DL650 and no issue as of 48,824 miles

I normally use regular gas which has 10% Ethonal but the little bit of "Storage" of my bikes I do would use Shell Super which has no Ethanal here.

Any of these close to Austin?
Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada

Why the hate toward 10% ethanol in gasoline? Yes, it'll pick up more water, and yes, it has less energy content than gas, but it is the cheapest and cleanest way to raise the octane level and to oxygenate the gasoline to reduce carbon monoxide and polyaromatic hydrocarbons in the exhaust.

Modern vehicles, including all V-Stroms, are designed to handle up to 10% ethanol just fine.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Hopefully they addressed those issues with the new models. I know that some of Suzuki's older '06-'07 model bikes have had line deterioration issues with ethanol.
