Smile Digital Speedo switch to show KPH?

I am sure its somewhere on the forum but the search feature is not bringing it up.

I have made my decision and I will be buying a 2012/2013 DL650 but I will be 99% buying it in the UK and then bringing it back to Ireland. But those guys across the pond use some old system called imperial or something.

So when I buy my new strom in the new year, will there be a way to convert the digital speedo to show KPH instead of MPH?

Thanks in advance.

It's in the owner's manual. I dont have it with me but i think i remember:
First you have to display the total odometer. Then you press and hold the "adjust" button, about 3 seconds to switch between MPH and KMH.

It's dead easy switching between units, no worries.

I've never seen a motorcycle parked in front of a psychiatrist's office. And that tells me pretty much everything I ever need to know about why I ride.

My Ride: 2012 DL650A Explorer Package, Fox Orange. Mods/Farkles: Scottoiler vSystem, Rox Risers, Adventuretech Mirror Extenders and Sidestand Foot, SW-Motech Over-The-Dash GPS mount.

Plans: Denali-type lighting, orange LED cowling/engine lighting, LED highlight upgrade, and everything I need to ride the Dempster Highway in 2017.

States/Provinces Ridden: NS, NB, QC, ON, ME, NH, MA, VT, NY, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, NC, TN, KY, GA, OH, IN, IL, IA, NE, CO, UT, AZ, NE, CA, NM, TX, OK, MO.

Just finished a 12,000 km run from Toronto to Monterey and back.
