Anyone recognize this part?

I found this under my 2012 650 after washing it I can't find any obvious place for it. It is soft rubber about 1 inch in diameter. ImageUploadedByMO Free1380035481.166153.jpgImageUploadedByMO Free1380035502.969288.jpg

Have you ever taken any of the plastics off?

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.

Looks like a instrument cluster/front fairing grommet.

I don't mind the going and I don't mind the stopping. I absolutely hate the stop and going.

I've taken the side covers off but it was a while ago. Is there something like this on the left side cover? I have noticed some extra vibration under my left knee lately. I'll have to take a look.

I suddenly developed a rattle when accelerating and I found that #18 had gone gone missing. Looks like the same part. It's underneath the small logo on the fuel tank cover. You can stick your finger under there and feel it.

dohickey

It's the rubber thingy that holds on the side panel at your knee. The panel has a post that pokes into the dohickey.

Road Toads Charter Member - old guy goes stromabout on a 2007 Vee and finally has touched all of the 48 contiguous United states and the 10 Canadian provinces.

There are two of those grommets. One goes up top as well.
