Two Brothers Exhaust for '12-'13

Anyone install this system on their '12 or '13 650 Vstrom yet?
Two Brothers Racing :: Suzuki DL650 Exhaust Systems

Sounds pretty good to me in the video and looks nice. I'm wondering if it would work with my Happy Trails center stand and if anyone here has any personal experience with this exhaust system. Thank you!

Yeah... I had a 2Bros exhaust on a GSX-R750 I had for a couple of years. It was pretty loud. But this exhaust system I'm asking about did not sound very loud at all in the video. Did you watch/listen to the video? That's a pretty long can on this setup. The 2Bros exhaust I had was really short.

That's one LONG can! Consider that if you have an Adventure.

It clears on the adventure rack on mine. I don't have a centerstand though. It is very loud. I made a silencer out of a bench grinder wheel flange. I just drilled a larger hole than was in it. I think it was about a 3/4" hole i drilled. The flange fits perfectly between the can and the endcap.

I put a set on my '07 DL1000, and they were too loud for me. I got the silencers available through Two Bros, and they quieted it down considerably, but after a 3500 mile road trip, I sold 'em. Silence is golden. They may not be near as loud on the 650 though, but if they are, look for their silencers, they came in two different models, a little less loud, and a little more less loud.

I just called Two Brother's customer support and asked them if this exhaust system will fit with a center stand installed on the bike. The customer service rep put me on hold about one minute and came back and said YES, it will work with a center stand. About to place my order now. I hope they're right.

Good stuff. Join us on the fun side You will be amazed at the difference this will make to the way you see this bike now. Not only in sound but looks and power delivery as well.

Make sure to put pics up when you get it and even a sound/video clip as well if possible.

Had a Two Brothers can on a BMW K1200GT as well as a BMW R1100S. Yeah, they are loud. Riding either of these beemers without ear plugs was not enjoyable. Also, cans had to be repacked every few thousand miles.

I'm enjoying, so far, the stock exhaust of the 650.
