Best bike ever, but I’m going to buy a new one

My ‘07 Wee is by far the best bike I’ve owned. I’m just shy of 75,000 miles and this spring I’m going to buy a new one. Oil, brake pads, chain lube and that’s it.

no battery replace?? otherwise - congrats...the kind of bike I like ....my 3 x 2010s were incredibly trouble free...only my Burgman 650 was more reliable over time but it ate tires.

How many valve adjustments? My new to me 09 never had them done. 3 mechanics said not to worry until warm bike - hard start issue shows itself . I'm leaning towards getting it checked/shimmed if out of spec this winter so I don't worry.

Should have clarified, 09 with 29K, synthetic oil after 3K, bike never pushed hard (allegedly), but both previous owners were 75 YO and 52 YO respectively

Yes I agree, great bikes. I have 83K miles on mine and I'm always on the lookout for a replacement, and have test ridden everything that would be a contender and none have excited me. In every case I'd loose more than I'd gain. Right now the bike at the top of my "next bike" list is a low mileage 2011 Wee (in white) which I can pick up cheap and transfer my farkles, and probably keep my '09 for parts.

Gristle - I've done 3 valve checks and had to adjust the first two times.

You will love the new bike, but still miss the old one.
