fuel flow test

RE: 2005 DL 650
I'm confused. Several sources on this forum claim the flow rate should be 1,200 ml after 30 seconds. That's the same spec as for my DL 1000, so it sounds reasonable considering the systems are relatively similar. However, a paper manual titled DL650 A; K-4 thru K-8 calls for 168 ml after 10 seconds, which doesn't make sense to me since that's only 504 ml after 30 seconds. I don't have the pressure gauge, but I want to test the pump and filter, and this method seems like a practical alternative. But, what's the proper flow rate?

If you get to it...
and you can't do it...
then there you jolly-well are,
aren't you?

The 1,200 mil for 30 sec is correct for the K5 Wee. See fuel flow test, https://www.vstrom.info/Smf/index.ph...c,11603.0.html and https://www.vstrom.info/Smf/index.php/topic,3981.0.html
For information, there have been a few reported errors in the various manuals, https://www.stromtrooper.com/general...tatements.html and https://www.vstrom.info/Smf/index.ph...c,19669.0.html
