Aftermarket shift lever

Hello everyone, I ended up buying a aftermarket shift lever and realized that it wasn't the right size. Can you guys give me some suggestions and some eBay links or Amazon links to some aftermarket shift levers that would fit my 2006 DL650 ? Thanks in advance.

This should fit: https://www.vstroma.com/FldgFootShiftLever.htm
Which one did you buy?

I can vouch that one worked on my 2011 650 fine.

I ended up buying just a offbrand shifter and should have done more research before buying , it was my bad.

This might work as well depending on boot size.

On a DL650 it works best with US size 12 and above.

Have you guys seen any shifters under 40$? Seems there are not many others made so the producers can charge much more

I think I may just try the bolt through the damaged original shifter, wish me luck.

Use two lock nuts, and Loctite them. Round off the bolt head to save your boots, and find a gearshift rubber, or use fuel line etc. https://www.amazon.com/Motobiker-Uni...S13ZJF9XBVJKC4
Good luck.

I just found this Youtube video.
However, I would thread the hole with a tap'n'die set, if you have one, and have the bolt head outside with a locknut either side of the shifter arm.
Gert and baroquenride like this.
