Any differences between 18' and 19'?

Hey guys ,

read somewhere on the forum that the 19' is "better" but nothing else was commented. Not sure if the guy knew what he was talking about.

is there any differences between 18' and 19'?

TIA.

Hey, I can’t speak to Canadian models (you should clarify that in your title) as they differ from US models in color and features. Here, we only get 1 color to your 3.

In the US the “better’ likely refers to the new Adventure model that now has aluminum panniers, heated grips, and a center stand. All new features to be included although the last 2 have been available as Accessories.

Glancing at you website though it appears you just have the Standard and X model which adds wire wheels.

I hadn’t heard of any mechanical updates since the revision in 2017/2018.

There is 1 foot difference between 18' and 19'.

'18 and '19 model year V Strom 1000 are pretty much the same. The 2018 model had many changes, anything new with the 2019 is just tweaks to stuff you don't see.

I think the biggest difference is the new five-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). As per Suzuki "it provides vehicle special information to the innovative Motion Track Anti-lock* & Combined Brake System."
