Accessory wire

Is there a accessory wire somewhere under the dash or faring? Ive read that there is a switched wire on the older dl650 behind the fairing think it's for heated grips. But is there anything on a 18 dl1000? I need a switched wire to hook up a cylopse tire pressure monitor system. Thanks for any help.

There is!!! I cannot remember exactly what it looks like, but, I have heard others say it is located in an inconvenient spot behind the radiator. Others who have used it can chime in. For a hot, switched source, I just got an adapter wire from easternbeaver.com and connected it to the light circuit under the seat.

Wrapped in black, on top of rad, left hand side. Below or just to side of the oem horn.Same design as horn connector. A good light is helpful. Cheers Doug
