I bought a used 2014 Vee last week, it had saddle bags and engine guard, but nothing else, so I immediately went shopping for lots of stuff. A center stand was on top of the list, and I found this on Amazon for $138, and decided to give it a try. It arrived in less than a week, well packaged, nice welds and finish, and good hardware. The instructions were the IKEA style pictures, but how complicated can a center stand be ? I did a test fit, and all looked good. I greased the moving parts, locktite on the parts I don't want to move, and got the spring on with a large phillips screwdriver. My only complaint would be the foot pad to push down on is very close to the passenger peg, so it's a bit awkward getting the stand down to the pavement. I point my toe toward the back of the bike to begin the downward stroke on the pad, then spin my foot on the pad toe forward to push down and lift. That technique may get better in time, but I really only use it when on the road for chain maintenance, I have a lift and paddock stands for lifting the bike when at home. Anyone looking for a center stand might consider this one, it's about half the price of others, and seems like it will work well for me.
