Proper turn Signal relay for LED? (2014-2016 DL1000)

Hi there,

What is the proper digital turn-signal relay to order fro my 2015 DL1000 if I want to switch to LED signals? I see lots of relays online but not sure how many pins, etc.

Thanks,

..Tom

My Opinion:
Vee or V= DL1000 before 2014
Vee2 or V2 = DL1000 2015 to 2019
Vee3 or V3 = DL1050 2020 to?

My Stroms:
2006 DL650: 202,000 km 125,500 miles, Sold
2012 DL650 139,500+ km, 86,700+ miles. Sold
2015 DL1000 New July 2015 205,000+ km, 127,000+ miles.

This can help preventing from cars pulling out in front of you (SMIDSY)

The multi pin relay is for the 1st gen VEE, not the V2.

The V2 uses a standard flasher relay:

Any "electronic" flasher should work.

I have fitted a 2 pin LED flasher but I have only changed my front units to LED and it works fine.

I did read another post where they had used the 2 pin flasher with full LED units and the light on the dash did not go completely out between flashes.

They also said the Suzuki LED flasher is a 3 pin with the third pin being wired to earth, this ensured the light on the dash completely extinguished between flashes.

The tail/brake light bulbs for my 2010 Weestrom are stock auto 1157's. I cannot see any reason why your bulb should be different - easy enough to check by removing the seat anyway.

1157 LED's are readily available.

You can even get them as strobe LED's

Make sure you get orange bulbs for the indicators. The tail light and brake light assembly are LEDs already.
