Sidestand foot enlarger

After reading through some threads here it looks like the Adventure tech and SW motech foot enlargers are the most popular. Are there any shortcomings with either?

Price is less of an issue at the moment. Its amazing how the price of things go out the window when your health depends on it. Been looking at the feet for a couple weeks and was asking myself do i really need that? I always carry some delrin pads around, so i would park, grab it out of my case, and place it. Fine. Except, my wife and i stopped at a friends house and parking in his unfinished driveway, slightly downhill towards the side stand side. Started sinking immediately with 1000 lbs of top heavy bike trying to right the ship. Got it to stay up but paid the price. Tweaked my back and missed out on two great days plus of weekend riding.

Point is, i wish i wasnt so cheap, and its definitely better to have a permanent solution for a foot enlarger.

Adventure Tech makes a nice one. I've bought for a couple bikes.
You tweaked your bike, or your back?

Adventuretech for sure, quality piece and Rick and Gloria are fantastic to deal with! If you don't already have them consider his mirror extenders, the increased visibility is fantastic!

I got the Adventuretech kickstand foot for my Vee several months ago. Zero problems, no regrets, have used it when parking in soft stuff more times than I can count.

The convenience of the kickstand foot expansion can't be overstated. Previously, I used one of those orange plastic kickstand puck things. I had it on the end of a piece of wire so I could deploy & retrieve it without the bike falling over. It was still a pain in the butt, and I don't miss it.

Just buy it. Once the money is spent you forget all about it and it pays years and years of dividends.

I have the sw-motech, only because I wasn't aware of ADVTech when I bought it.
