Check out Cyclops LED, they have a new H4 bulb out that is top tech and performance. I installed a set of their H4 4800lm bulbs in my Glee and they were awesome. Put a small hole in the center of the rubber dust cap, unscrew the bulb housings and sandwich the rubber boot between the bulb and fan, reinstall. The fan stays outside the boot and if you are careful you have a good tight seal. Im getting ready to install a set of their new H7 4800lm bulbs in my VFRX. Cyclops tells me the plastic caps screw right back over the fan, we will see.

My first one was Cyclops. Very expensive and lasted for 3 months only, then one side blew. On ZDatt LED bulbs now. More then a year and H7 and H9 shine like a new.
Ah, and ZDatt is quarter a price compared with Cyclops.

I never heard of them but I will check. I am also looking at the GTR perfect fit led. It is only like 20 watts so I'm not sure how that would fly.

I installed the H7 LED "Bulb" last spring on May 4th, 2019 Yesterday I noticed my beam was all messed up with very little light going forward. When I got home I took a good look and the LED part separated from the mounting part. The LED is working and perhaps can be re-attached. It came as a two-pack so just took a few minutes to install the other one.
It was late last night when i got home from work (10ish) so I didn't have much time to see if it is designed to come apart like that and can simply be clicked back together. I bought it on Amazon so have emailed the vendor to see how they will take care of this.

Here is what it looked like:

31,300 km or about 31,322 miles. Don't know if this is a fluke or a testament to how cheap some things are made but it didn't last much longer than the Halogen H7's although at least it failed "soft" with some light being available so at least I wasn't left in the dark.

A little epoxy will fix that right up. Amazon vendors are typically pretty good too. Wouldn't surprise me if they send you a new pair.

I am running leds from a company called led eagle. They are a Canadian company. You can purchase directly from them or off of amazon. They use fans and fit well in a 2015 1000. And they come in a set of 2. Used them in both car and bike and would recommend them.

Do they fit inside the Strom Headlight system without any modification?

Yes they do. The H7 has the adaptor that comes off to fit and then put the bulb in. And I also bought the H11 bulb for high beam. With them coming in pairs I have spares. They are a real quality build and very professional packaging. I think for $50 apiece they were well worth it.

I'm trying to picture how that works with the plug being inside the cover. Is there actually enough room inside the cover for all that?

How many KM's do you have on the h7's?
