Vstrom pegs

http://www.oneidasuzuki.com/store/dl650-dl1000.html

Has anyone purchased these or found somewhere cheaper to buy them, I swear when I first saw them they were about $140. Any suggestions to similar pegs. Don't want all metal as I ride mainly road, but with these you seem to get best of both with rubber inserts.

Great Gak, sparky. I got a pair of DR pegs that give a very secure foot feel that for $15.
I have a hard time taking a week's worth of vacation money for a set of foot pegs.
That's moto camping vacation, not your wife's vacation....

I run the metal knockoff KLR one's all the time and don't miss the rubber at all. Like these:

I bought stainless steel pegs from aliexpress for $25 and they work perfectly. No rubber though, but you are wearing boots right?

Here is something similar, and half what I paid too. Get them just to try out, pocket change. Select epacket for shipping method even if you have to pay a few bucks. Gets it to your door way faster.

Why not go with the Mo Tech pegs? I have them and like them. A lot less money.

I ordered a set of shit pegs off eBay for 17 bucks... Worst grip ever. Stock pegs aren't awful for road and dry. Honestly really want bigger pegs with rubber in middle that's why Suzuki so appealing. Super Tenere comes stock with awesome pegs. Only thing better than Strom.

Go to https://gl1800riders.com/forums/ and buy a Goldwinger's pegs that came off of their bike. They like to replace their pegs with floorboards. I paid $40 for mine and they are wider side to side and wider front to back. If you ride on road, they are great and allow your feet to move into different positions.

In most cases "you get what you pay for". I prefer to do it right the first time and not break down at the worst place and time due to skimping on quality.

"I prefer to do it right the first time and not break down at the worst place and time due to skimping on quality."

I had a pair of Buell pegs on my BMW, they broke falling over in the driveway. POS
But with so many good less expensive pegs on the market.....
There is also the, "Well, it's expensive so it must be the best.", line of thinking.
