riser/bar backs 2014 to 2018 DL1000

Does anyone have a Vee2 with the riders that also move the bars back (I think they're 30-mm up and 22-mm back) installed on their bikes who live ion Ontario, Canada? Toronto?

Thanks much

Bumping this thread instead of starting a new one.

I'm thinking of buying the 30mm risers to improve posture and stand up riding.

Anyone run into issues throwing on 30mm risers?

I think you are going to want to install longer brake and clutch lines. Not a big deal in the long run but a bit fiddly routing lines, bleeding etc.

(This based on 2015 DL1000. Perhaps you bike has longer hydraulic lines.)

2015 DL1000 New July 2015 195,000+ km, 121,000 miles.

Thanks Tom.

What size risers are you running?

I'm thinking of going with the Bikemaster option that provides 4 different lengths in one kit. That way I can start with the 1 inch, then go higher when I decide to play with the cables.

I don't recal for sure as I got the risers in late 2006 or 2007. I think they are inch up and inch back. I could have moved the lines around a bit to make room but they would still be tight at the extremes and I don't like that idea.

2" Rox risers without new cables. Route cables behind triple clamp for slack. Sorry about the rotation on the first picture, forum won't let me rotate it.

did you need to take off the triple claimp or did you just take off the switches and pass the tries through between the steering stem and the fork leg?

I suspect 30mm might be fine without any changes if all you needed to do is reroute cables for 60mm.

Switches were off because of putting new bars on along with risers.
