Buy a regular spare one to keep with you on trips. They are about $80 last time I checked. It is unlikely you will ever break it anyways unless you do a lot of dirt riding, and if you do break one, drill a hole in the end and install a long bolt to get you to the next place to swap it out. I have heard they can be straightened a few times too without breaking off if your lucky but have no experience with that.

A lot cheaper than spending $200 for something that "might" save you.

Even if you have a folding one, you should still bring a spare on long trips.

Best solution is to not crash.

Can't we just get an OEM DR650 shifter and get rid of the linkage? Cheap and steel.

I need more space for my foot to shift since installing the Pivot Pegz.

Can anyone confirm a DR650 shifter will work?
