Just survived Trans-Labrador

Just completed Blanc Sablon to Labrador City and back. My 15 V2 and my brother-in law’s 15 Wee did well. He opted for the Shinko 805s and had an easier time on the gravel roads. My Shinzo 705s got me through but felt a little less secure at times. It is to be experienced before the rest of the road is paved. 350 KMs currently gravel(each way), but paving is reducing that daily. Beautiful and rugged.

Sounds like a long run, with the return trip included My son and I were up that way a year ago in late May, great trip, and we saw more pavement than we had expected based on what we had read before the trip. Still plenty of gravel though.
We ran Mitas E-07 and thought they worked well. I'm going to go with Shinko 804/805 on an '11 Wee this year in similar conditions on the TNE route in New Brunswick and Quebec. Good to hear that your brother-in-law had some luck with those.
