Safer Turn Systems

Recently purchase a safer turn system and was wondering if anyone had installed it on a 2014 v2. Just wondering where to mount the unit and how much I need to taketake of the bike to get to the ideal spot to mount and splice the wires

It bought one recently. It's still being delivered so I can't comment on fitment of the unit yet. Thanks for starting this thread though.

Sounds like training wheels... Jk. I would definitely be interested in self cancelling if that's what it is. Looking forward to hearing more on this.

Safer Turn is the website name. Smart Turn is their self canceling indicator product. They also do a smart brake product.

Price? I cannot see one. Or any info or installation instructions.
That usually makes me close the link - which is what I did.

The prices and installation instructions are on the site.
The price is $99 USD but it immediately drops by 10% once you give your email address.
I ended up being offered a 15% discount, which I took - worked out at $118 AUD with delivery included.

Looks nice, be nice to have self canceling turn signals on the KLR and Vstrom, just like my '82 xj1100

It's the marketing strategy that irritates me.

This time I went all the way to the checkout here button and all I learnt was that it was some programming coupled to an accelerometer. Still no fitting instructions and that "can I help?" pop-up becomes very annoying. It may very well be a great product but going light on the detail and very heavy on the bling is very off-putting to me.

I looked at them and stopped when they wanted me to enter my email just to get a price quote. I just don't need more junk email, so no thanks.
