Hi all,

I just baught a 2014 DL1000. So I'd thought I'd pop in and say hi.

My long term plan is to eventually put on a sidecar. But for the time being it will be used as a commuter bike for me.
Spec, Wallygator, BrianS and 2 others like this.

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. - quote attributed to Helen Keller.

Welcome to the forum.

You know that putting a sidecar on a motorcycle turns it into a car right?

Welcome to the forum! You will learn a lot here from these guys...

I ALWAYS wanted to put a sidecar on for my lab. I can't wait to hear and see how that turns out!

Hola, ignore Bugsy, the bike will be a whole new world when you mount a sidecar to it. I referred to my rig as a motorcycle and a goiter. It can still be fun and satisfying.
Then you can get a tent trailer to tow and really go camping in style. Don't forget the requisite plastic Flamingos and regalia.
