OK, new bike favor...

Got the 14 1000, and the owners book was not with it. So I ordered one.

Can anyone tell me what lights should be light on the dash when the bike is running. Maybe snap a pic of the dash and what things mean??? I just noticed the ABS and TC are lit up on the dash.... And I got a little scared. They are yellow in color.

Sorry guys, but I am curious and stoked.... and a little worried...

TC and ABS lights stay lit until you start moving. Few revolutions of the wheels and they will turn off. When TC is in mode 1 or 2, TC light on the dash will stay off. But if you put TC mode to OFF, the TC light will stay on all the time.

Thank you, thank you.... Havn't got it out to ride, as I didn't get a temp reg. to not pay sales tax in WA. It's SOOOO hard having it in the shop and not being able to take it out and ride..... Thanks again, I am relieved.

See if this helps

The manual says

Quote:
The fuel injection system indicator light (11), freeze indicator light (12), Coolant temperature indicator/oil pressure indicator light (4), ABS indicator light (14), Traction control system indicator light (5), LCD's and tachometer needle work as follows to confirm their function when the ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position.

* The fuel injection system indicator light (11) and freeze indicator light (12) come on for 2 seconds.
* The tachometer needle moves to the full scale position and returns to the home position.
* All LCD segments will have appear action and then show normal display.

Garage
Its also only a problem if they stay on. The lights are there to remind you that they are working properly. kind of an easy dummy light. Cheers to the new ride and what I think is the best bike out there.
