2014 + Vee2 fuel filter

Any body else got a high mileage Vee2. Im showing 72000ish kilometers.
Coming home this morning i got the severe hesitation on quick application of full throttle. Had the very same thing on my Vee1 at about the same distance. Turned out to be clogged filter and was cured by the filter ectomy and instal an external job.
Anyone looked at the pump/filter in the Vee2? Any clues on doing an external filter mod on these bikes. Fugg it.

You would think that after all the years of the Vee doing this, they would have resolved it in the V2. It is not as though it is a hard thing to fix. Maybe they make lots of money selling new ones?

Check parts fiche to see if the Vee and V2 fuel pumps have the same part numbers?

He posted (somewhere, not sure if in that thread) that he could get the pump to operate again better by reversing polarity and flushing out some of the mug from the filter. Worth a try.
