Power Commander V Installation

I recently ordered a PCV from Revzilla and I have a few questions for those of you who have installed the module on your motorcycle.

1. Does it help fix any of the ECU issues?

2. Does it make the bike run any smoother?

3. What did you do to weather proof the front cylinder O2 sensor connector? It's very hard to get to and it doesn't like like there's any good way to cover it up. Any suggestions on how to weather proof this would be excellent.

Given my installation was on a DL650 2012 this may not be relevant to your issues and certainly no point answering Q1 and 3.
What I would say is that the PCV install with an Akropovic smoothed out low speed throttle control and also improved mid level torque. Despite what many on here say I believe it to be one of the best upgraades I have done to my Strom.

1. Yes. 2. Yes. 3. O2 sensors are not in need of weather proofing.
And if you install an Arrow collector you can do away with all that.
Then again, there is no need for a Power Commander on the stock setup. If you are having ECU issues your dealer should replace.
