Brakes front and rear numbers

What to order EBC HH pads to have on hand when ready when to change, cannot figure out part numbers for either, owners manual lists no info. Anyone change brakes pads yet? Recommendations?

You need EBC's numbers, not Suzuki's. According to EBC Double-H Sintered Brake Pads - Motorcycle Superstore

Front FA379HH (you need two sets)
Rear FA419HH

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Thanks Greywolf. I was looking as well but one seller had left and right side as different. Appreciate your time on this.

I'm quite pleased with D2moto HH sintered pads. They work as week as the EBC pads I replaced. 24 bucks front and rear shipped.

Other models have left and right different. The Vee2 just shows one pad set as it has 4 piston calipers.

Does this look right to you? I thought the pads on the V2 front were more of a U shape. When I search by the part number listed in this thread it shows me lots of different looking pads.

https://fortnine.ca/en/ebc-double-h-sintered-brake-pads

This one looks correct to me, but Kirk says it isn't right

https://www.denniskirk.com/ebc/doubl...prd/196186.sku

This is the one Kirk says fits the 2014, this looks completely wrong.

I'm at work and haven't looked other than confirming those part numbers from other research, but are the rear pads organic? The Hondas I've owned used a less aggressive compound in the rear pads...

EBC HH pads are sintered metal. The GG pads are organic.

I ended up ordering a set from Fortnine even though the picture is wrong, it says "2014 DL1000 guaranteed fit" so they must have some idea what they are selling. It is the same picture that was provided further up in this thread too, from Motorcycle Superstore, which is also wrong (i think).

Actually the EBC catalog specifies both:

FA419HH for "Long life" and
FA419 for "Sport Carbon" (organic)

For those that like to drag the rear brake organic is a good choice to minimize rotor wear...
