Here is my GPS set up, can anyone recommend a tank bag?

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a small Tank Bag with my GPS the way it is? I have my Garmin down low on the bars which has been working out.

I really want to go the snap ring style if possible, but all the snap ring bags Ive run across all seem so high and would block my view.
In the first photo I am seated on bike and the camera lens is level with my eyes.

Any input is appreciated.

Reid

I just bought the Givi 3D603 tank lock bag and it is perfect for me on my 2015 DL1000.

My advice would be to ditch the Garmin and go with a phone. I had 2 gamins that the plug kept falling out of even after I siliconed it in! I think Big B said he bought a $30.00 phone for just that reason. No phone service on it but the GPS works on it. Amazon has a Blu phone for $50.00. I'm going to get that and give it a try! I will swap my SIM card and use that phone on trips. If it gets damaged, it's a lot less $$ that my $700 Samsung!

I went with the Suzuki tank bag. I got a good deal on it off eBay.

I suspect that story has ended as he posted today he may be getting a Garmin 390.

Have a look at a Giant Loop Diablo- if you need more room possibly a Fandango.

I have the older version of the magnetic Suzuki tank bag, and love it. For long trips, especially for the SLR and warmer glove storage with easy access, the expandable top comes in handy. My Garmin is on a tall ball post beside the left mirror. It is parallel with the instrument panel so my eyes don't drop as low as you have your setup. In Canada, since we are in kilometers, the stock Suzuki speedometer is 10% higher than the posted limit.....so I use my Garmin to monitor my speed. This saves the manual calculation reduction from the speedometer, and the Garmin also shows the posted speed and your actual in red if you are speeding. (yes I know I can change the sprocket sizing)

IMHO I would relocate your phone holder, or put the phone in the tank bag and bluetooth it to the Garmin through a helmet headset, and mount the GPS high....keep your head up eh.

I have the same GPS position. Givi do a small tank bag with a lock ring on the cap. Works great and is small enough to take off into garages etc and keep wallet phone etc inside.
