Recall Sticky?

Can we have a recall sticky? I keep seeing recall notices from 2014 popping up and I wondered if it would be a good idea to just start a sticky so they are all in one thread? I have a new off the floor 2014 and would like to know of as many as possible before the 12 month warranty is up. I have very little faith in any dealer volunteering any recall issue after my BMW experience.

It is as simple as giving the dealer your VIN number, any recalls if your VIN is affected must be taken care of.

Recalls are separate from warranty issues. Recalls are fixed for free well beyond the warranty period.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Yeh that's exactly what I'm talking about........."Nah, that ain't covered." or "That sound is normal." It would be nice if there was a compilation of issues, warranty issues, recall issues. Like the ECU thing. Some bikes don't have the intermittent problem, some do. Some dealers are taking care of the issue and some aren't. It just seems like a good idea to have a sticky that shares everyones experiences so people have some guidance when trying to get issues taking care of. Just a thought, anyway.
