2014 DL1000 w/Holeshot-Corbin and SWMotech Steel Plate

Hello group

Bought Dale's seat and love it! Took a 400 mile ride through Ohio twisties the weekend it arrived and it felt perfect, even when hanging off. Outstanding quality.

Issue - It is a couple inches longer at the rear end and it pushes up against the SWMotech steel plate used for the rear case. I am having to trim about a half inch or more off the plate for all to be well and for the plate not to run into my new seat and cut it.

Mines tight too. Just figured rubbing over time would hurt the $400 seat!!

it's a little lower and is more tapered towards the tank.
basicly dave took the corbin design modified it and corbin is making them for him

Cured. Cut about 1/2" away and a little black paint to keep it from rusting. All better.

I bought the same seat with the same top rack and had the same exact issue. I ended up taking a grinder and ground it down just enough so it clicks in now. Works just fine.
