Looking for a bolt

I have an Adv and am replaceing the OEM crash bars, but I need to find the part number of the long transferse bolt that hold them on. The bolt is different between the ADV and Std versions and I need the Std bolt to mount the new bars. Anyone have a diagram that shows that bolt? I've book looking all over.

I'm looking for the part number so I don't need to drive the 40 miles to point at the bolt (if they have a Strom on the floor), 40 miles home, and another 80 mile round trip to pick it up.

#27 is part number 09103-12016, an M12x300 bolt. #26 is part number 09103-10226, an M10x265 bolt. One source of part numbers and diagrams is OEM Parts : MRCycles

p38arover and Yamatoman like this.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

It's interesting that I cannot find anywhere any information on the Adv engine guards. Anyone need a pair?

The part numbers I gave were for the normal model with no engine guards.

I was going to say Yamaha sells them, but it's the wrong kind of Bolt.

Get a piece of all-thread from a local nut & bolt supply store and cut to length. You can get metric or fractional, and standard or high strength. Tip--use self-locking nuts, but glue one on with red Loctite so it functions like a bolt head.

"Older people who are reasonable, good-tempered, and gracious will bear aging well. Those who are mean-spirited and irritable will be unhappy at every period of their lives.

"Let each of use properly whatever strengths he has and strive to use them well. If he does this, he will never find himself lacking."
