Foot peg lowering

Has anyone tried either a footpeg that has a kink in it that lowers and moves the peg rearward, or an adjustable peg like this one?

I like these, but they are pricey. Any other options that you all have tried?

i just tried Cycle Pirates setup on my 919. it works in a similar fashion to what you picture.

thing i noticed immediately is that your foot will be more outboard the bike than stock. so finding shifter or brake takes getting used to.

you'll also notice the hinge point sticking you into the side of your foot most likely.

I think the drop setup that Adventure Tech's got is probably the better way to go.

Rick's solution is great, but I don't know that I want to move the pegs forward. If anything, I'd like them to be moved back. Partially for riding purposes, but also because the damn things are always in the way of my legs when putting my feet down. And, if we moved the pegs back without moving the levers, we'd have more room for our feet.

I get your point... I'm just pointing out what i found to be the issue with styles that use an adapter like that.

Good luck in the search

Thanks for the feedback on those adjustable pegs. After going for a ride today, I feel like Rick's drop brackets will work for me. I don't need more foot space (size 9), and the pegs actually hit the side/front of my shins while standing on the ground, so moving the pegs forward .25" might actually help that slightly. And Rick is much cheaper than other solutions out there.
