Miles per tank on a Vee2

What are the most miles you have gotten per tank? I don't like to run her low, but was running behind over the last few days and thought I'd see what she had in a tank when I saw the last bar. I got 228 and the dash said she had 25 miles left to go; I think that is about right, but didn't want to push it.

I put 4.6 gallons in so I should have had about .7 to spare.

I got caught out once after a long ride and did the last 30 km at 80kph lying flat on the tank when I realised how far the next fuel was. Did 485 km (300 miles) and took 18 litres to fill the 20 litre tank (Wee2). The ride was a lot of twisties, 80 to 100kph (mostly ).

Was this on a Vee2? Your profile says you have a 650 GW

I have had a tank go 300 miles, and have ran out at under 260 miles. Lately I get around 44 mpg on my 650 with Givi Trekker luggage. As it gets hotter out the mpg increases quite a bit.

Not on a Vee2. Lets compare apples to apples. GW

I have ran mine down to when it says --- across the bars. And put 5.7 gallons in it. Don't rely on the miles remaining thing because it lies.

No, this was on my 2012 650, that's why I wrote Wee2, to clarify it wasn't a Vee. Maybe I shouldn't have posted in this thread.

Miles per tank on a Vee2

I accidentally posted my tank stats for my first gen wee, our mods work hard to keep us straight. I bet it's like " hearding cats" sometimes.

It is all good! I posted in the 2014+ forum, but your story was interesting & informative, no worries!

Garage
I once got 253 miles and filled with 5.3 gallons, but usually target 150 to 180 miles between fill-ups.
