Enduro Guadian SkidPlate

Enduro Guardian - Skid Plates, Bash Plates, off Road Bumpers

Has anyone used Yann's skidplate for the Vee2? Thoughts?

I have a 2014 DL1000 with full Arrow exhaust, including headers.

Has anyone installed an Enduro Guardian skidplate kit on
a Vee2 with Arrow system? Just wondering since the Arrow is full round tube
under engine...Is their enough clearance?

Their website says their kit works with Givi Bars, which this bike has
but can't confirm fitment if Arrow exhaust system is also used.

Thanks.

V65 Magna, VMax, B-King, Vee2.

What is return policy of twistedthrottle if skidplate doesn't fit?

Not sure if there's dedicated thread somewhere, posting here
Got my enduro guardian skid plate installed over SW-Motech crashbars. There was one problem - bundled U-bolts and hardware upgrade kit didn't fit onto bars, bars were too thick. I had to unbend U-bolts to make them work. Bars were powdercoated before, but I don't think layer of coat alone made them that much thicker. Hardware upgrade kit (bracket and 2 panhead) were way off, impossible to install.

Other than that, everything fit nicely, installation was easy. Was little confused by instructions - "lube your stainless bolts or they will seize". Should I soak them in Loctite, or use grease, but not both? I thought the purpose of Loctite was to fix bolts in place, not to make them easier to unscrew.

I have the Vee2 with Arrow system and the SW Motech skidplate. I'm not that found of the skid plate's appearance and mounting method, but it keeps rocks away from oil filter.

If I had to do it over again I would have gone with the Givi RP3105 since I don't plan on balancing my bike on logs or running engine case deep ruts.

Which SW motech crash bars the ones they make for suzuki OEM or the aftermarket ones?

How does it affect clearance? Did you get the highway pegs too? Picts? I'm leaning towards the eg plate with the non OEM swm bars....Or possibly the Dakota Motorsports plate.

I own one with Givi crash bars. I like it. It does rest up against engine head. I guess it's ok. Haven't taken any heavy hits yet, but thing is built like a brick shit house. I replaced the Givi one which is basically for looks only. It bends like aluminum foil, and I'm not fond of engine mounting. I guess it did its job though.
