Now Eastern Beaver has a PC-8 harness that is designed for the new V2. I believe he used info from Tipsy's custom installation. I have a link to a photo of mine below and will post up how the install goes. Just laying it out on the bike looks like it is done well, allowing one to run it down the left subframe tube like Tipsy's install.
OK already ran into a problem. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like the harness has a two prong connector and the brake/tail light harness has 4 prong connectors. Am I looking at the wrong bike harness connector?
You need to use the connection from the foot brake switch. It's located above the foot brake. Easy to find with the seat off.
Thanks, I got a reply from Eastern Beaver last night. The connector in question is located amid bike, under the forward part of the seat, forward of the battery and aft of the coolant overflow reservoir, just about on top of the ABS control unit. If anyone wants a photo, let me know today...LOL
The inline fuse holders (red arrows) are redundant.
Why bother with an auxiliary fuse block if your going to connect virtually everything you're running directly to the battery? It looks like you've got no fewer than four ring terminals connected to the battery - three accessories plus the PC-8 connections.
