Moto Fuses vs. auto Fuses

I am installing a bmw type plug for a heated vest. The wiring harness I have has a 3 amp fuse. Looking at the fuses in the panel, they are smaller tha an auto type. Is there a difference? Where do I go to get moto fuses and pigtail with a fuse holder? A local source I hope>

Newer cars also have those small fuses now. My 2012 Ford Focus uses the same fuses as my 2014 Vee2. But, my Focus doesn't need 3A fuse, used for dash plug on my Strom. Those are difficult to source for reasonable price. Last time I ordered pack of 10 3A fuses on eBay for the price of one at local Suzuki dealer.

I believe that, so far I have found 3 different fuse sizes just digging thru my electrical box.
