Need help with tps

Does anybody know how to test a tps , would appreciate any and all help. I am thinking there is a way to check with an ohm meter but I need what the numbers should read and if I can read it on the bike. Also would the code come up in dealer mode if its bad. Thanks

The TPS is basically a variable resistor. Think of a worn radio volume control, you recall that scratching volume as you turn it. Cleaning may help but its best to replace it! There have been cases where a cleaning has helped, but not for long. See https://www.sportbikes.net/forums/fz...ml#post2105110, for more info on the TPS assembly.
