Cool Finally, ordered part is here

24261-06G00-000 Suzuki Gear,6th drive(nt:23) 2426106G00000, New Genuine OEM Part is the part i needed for my bike ,I can not believe this was not available in US even form major deelerships and online stores, ordered it on ebay , with estmaited delivery time of one month, today got the email from the seller andd it is shipped 2 days ago.as of this after noon it is in custom service in Los Angeles.,bike is 2008 DL 1000 and it has the same parts as 2012 , per US regulations imported cars have to provide the parts and spare parts for 15 years after sale, it seems suzuki has to look at their law office books , am i wrong ? or should some one remind them.also I donot know hoiw is that possible that booletproof vstrom 1000 engine have a exploded bawl beatringa fter 40000 miles ona bike that is very carefully and meticulosly riden /kept/ maintained. as a result of spliting the engine i am replacing every think in between the cases including rings and chains , this time bike should be good for 50000 miles more with only oil and filter chain and valve adjustment if needed.

Thank you Sir, I just cant let a good machine go to junk after this major service/overhaul every thing is new and should be good for a long time. So, after making sure if properly repared and tested will send it to Arizona to my nephew. This way stays in family and in good use.

If you haven't already pulled the motor...you should video document your process and post it for some of us (me!) who will be replacing a motor soon! (Or splitting the case and repairing...haven't decided yet.)

I'd also love to see you split the case and replace all the gaskets, and 6th gear.

You can do all that one-handed while filming with the other, right?
