Rear Swingarm bearings DL1000 K2

Hello, hope someone can help. I've been advised that the swingarm bearings need replacing. Having looked on several parts sites the diagrams seem to suggest that there are 4 bearings required of two different sizes (two on each side) but some sites advertise bearing kits which seem to show 2 bearings and 2 bushes? Before I dismantle the swing arm, I'd like to have the spares ready. Can anyone assist me in explaining exactly how many bearings are needed and/or better still have any pictures of a dismantled swing arm bearing area? Many thanks

There is one pair of swing arm bearings with acompanying spacers. One set for each side.

The cush rod bearings are for the suspensions linkages. If your swing arm bearings are worn I suggest checking these bearings as well.

The diagram is not clear because it does not show the placement of cush rod (suspensions linkage dog bones) very well.

Rich, do you package the bearing set for the shock linkage? I have a spare linkage set that needs a referb before i install it.
It's one of those things that otta be looked at every 100K or so, no?

it's not the kind of thing we do. i would check a local bearing supply store and get double sealed bearings.

Thanks to you all for your replies, I think I will replace both sets of bearings.

Your welcome. There are bearings at the bottom of those dog bones as well. So that would be three pairs of bearings.
