Hi All!

I'd like to pick up soem riding gear.. jackets, pants, boots, etc this weekend.

Any recommendation as to who has the best slection? I would like to try on the gear before purchasing.

(Also, sugggestions as to what gear to purchase would be helpful as well.)

PS: I live North and East of Toronto but anywhere in the GTA is fine with me.

GP Bikes in Ajax.

Make sure to avoid GP Cycles, they suck.

I got most of my stuff from Parker Brothers on Dundas St. near the 427. I have the Joe Rocket Hard Drive Jacket, Joe Rocket Ballistic 4.0 Pants, Joe Rocket leather gauntlet gloves. I find the pants too hot during the summer but great during the spring and fall. I got my excellent Sidi Thunder Boots from I doubt you will find any boots in common sizes in stock at this point in the season, but you never know. The best selection is usually in March or early April for most gear. I prefer the water repelling feature of nylon/kevlar jackets and pants over leather. They breathe a little better than solid leather and may offer more protection than perforated leather. You might also want to consider LDComfort riding shorts. They will keep you dry, and are seamless, which helps delay/prevent monkey butt.

2005 Blue DL650 (sold with regret - hurt the knees)
