Looking For:

I am looking for a few last items to finish farkling my new, not yet, delivered 2018 DL650. Anyone know where the best price is for a Kaco throttle lock and an SW Motec back rest for the aluminum top box?
I picked up a lick stand pad and Airflow Wind Screen through Fortnine.
It's kinda funny, the boxes are going to pile up before the bike actually arrives.

I assume the Kaco is the best alternative, it's been years since I have owned a road bike without Electronic Cruze. Glad I hung onto my old school throttle rocker.

My preference is to shop Canadian, our kids need the jobs!

I have a kakao throttle lock on my bike and if it wasn't on the bike when I bought it I wouldn't spend the $140+ for it.

It is a well made unit but the plastic Vista cruise or Omni throttle locks or even a thick 0-ring are at least 2/3rds less and do the same thing.

I also very rarely use it other than if I need to take my hand off the throttle to adjust something. Unless you ride Bonneville salt flats throttle locks are about useless as a 3rd testicle for longer than a mile or two. Set it and go up any incline and the bike slows. Set it and go down any incline and the bike speeds up.

Thanks.... always like that second opinion. I remember having Kaco on a KLR and it was major upgrade...lol
I used an "O" ring on my F800GS and then got spoiled with electronic cruze on the next three BMW's.
I'll go with the Throttle Rocker first off and see how the throttle tension is.
