Mechanic referral - Toronto and area

Looking for referral for someone/someplace to do tune up on 2003 Dl1000, valves throttle body synch etc - time and space precludes me getting around to doing it myself, bike has pipes and power commander installed. I'm in Newmarket but can get bike anywhere - thanks in advance - Mike

Speedworx in Markham is a great shop, I've been going there for years. Call in advance to book an appointment because they're crazy busy this time of the year.

Welcome aboard Mike! I used to live in Mount Albert so all my doctors and hair cutter are in Newmarket.

I don't have a suggestion for bigger bike work but when it comes to things like mounting tires and thing like chain or wheel bearings Ted Rose of Rosey Toes in the city is very handy. While I am sure he would be good at it I don't know if I want to have him do valves and I am sure

Don't know if you saw that this Sunday a number of us are meeting in Bancroft for Lunch. The thread is in the Canadian Section at:

If you are coming please vote in the Poll and let us know.

Garage
Been to both Speedworx and Ace MotoTech and they are both excellent and honest places to deal with.
I would definitely not suggest going to Rosey Toes for this even, though I used to go to him for everything bike related for about 5 years. I know his work quality pretty well and would not trust his shop to do this type of work.

Thanks All, I've used Ted for certifications etc in the past but dont think this type of work is in his wheelhouse.
